Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary Rules and Regulations
Timings: The Sanctuary are open for visitors Entry from 07:00 AM and Exit before 06:00 PM. Kindly note the timings before planning the trip.
A booking receipt and hard copy of Government ID proof for all tourists is required to enter the zone.
Only a limited number of vehicles are allowed in the zone at a time, so it is recommended to book your safari in advance.
The maximum number of passengers allowed is 6 persons for a 7-seater vehicle and 4 persons for a 5-seater vehicle, including the driver.
Vehicles entering the sanctuary should not exceed a speed limit of 20 KM per hour.
A trained naturalist or guide allotted by the Forest Department is mandatory for all safaris.
Visitors are expected to maintain silence during the safari. Noise from music systems, mobile phones, and vehicle horns is strictly prohibited.
No littering or plastic waste inside the sanctuary. Visitors must carry all their trash outside the forest for disposal.
Do not disturb wildlife or their natural habitat.
Feeding animals is strictly prohibited as it may attract dangerous wildlife towards vehicles.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the forest as it may cause wildfires.
Photography is allowed, but use of flash or spotlights is prohibited.
Maintain a minimum distance of 20 meters from wildlife. If any wild animal approaches your vehicle, remain stationary and allow the animal to pass safely.
Vehicles and visitors are not allowed to deviate from the Sanctuary route marked by the Forest Department.
Guides and tourists are not allowed to step out of the vehicle without prior permission from Forest Officials.
Follow the instructions of the forest guide at all times.
Violation of any rules may result in penalties ranging from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 10,000/-.
Safety should be a top priority. Visitors are advised to exercise caution while traveling and driving. The Forest Department and JFM Committee shall not be held responsible for any accidents or mishaps.
There will be no refunds, returns, transfers, or rescheduling allowed for safari bookings.
